We’re WOW, a new innovative retail concept on a mission to create the retail of the future!

WOW aims to become the global go-to marketplace for early adopters to discover what’s new. In short, we’re an omnichannel platform that combines unique physical locations and an online marketplace (WOWShop.com) and partners with Direct to Consumer brands and established brands to create unique retail experiences.

With a very customer centric approach, our goal is to constantly surprise our clients with outstanding customer experiences and carefully curated product selections, from established brands to up and coming designers. Launched in 2020 we're a VC-backed company and we've secured our first location in Madrid, opened last March 2022. The building has 5.500 sqm and is located at the city center in Gran Via, Spain's first and Europe's third most busy street in terms of footfall.

IT MANAGER

We are looking for an IT Manager to join our WOW IT Team. Reporting to the CTO, you will be leading the IT Team here at WOW Company. You will be expected to deploy the IT company strategy by leading and coordinating multiple projects as well as explote and maintain the WOW systems map and network.

The ideal candidate will have passion for technology and keep up-to-date with latest technologies and trends, will be a leader, an excellent manager and a great communicator.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain relationships with partners.
• Coordinate with the CTO to execute the IT company strategy.
• Coordinate with the internal business owners and department managers.
• Lead the internal IT team.
• Project management and cost control.
• Scope, risk and deadlines management.
• Internal and partner developer teams coordination.
• Maintain and evolve the systems map.
• Report to the CTO

Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduated in Engineering (computer science or telecommunications).
• 10+ years of experience in the IT sector.
• 5+ years experience as Functional Manager / Project Manager / Business Manager.
• 5+ years experience in IT project management (budgets, costs, risks, time and monitoring).
• 5+ years experience as an intermediary between business and a software development team.
• 5+ years experience in IT architecture, networks and systems design.
• Certifications in Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile Methodologies).
• Experience in Commerce, Marketplace, ERP, POS, PSP and Identity servers.
  
• Experience in working with partner teams.
• Experience in JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience in Retail and eCommerce.
• Very strong technology back.

• You're fluent in English (both written and spoken) and Spanish. A third language is a plus
